The AR-NET project explored the implementation of automatic recognition in the European Union and European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The project developed new guidelines for de facto automatic recognition, as well as a new path of portability of recognition statements, and updated practical tools to support compliance with the Lisbon Recognition Convention (LRC).

The project resulted in the completion and update of several publications aimed at supporting the recognition of qualifications, namely:

• Portability of recognition statements in the EHEA. Fast lane or detour to Automatic Recognition?
• The Triangle of Automatic Recognition. Guidelines for the application of de facto automatic recognition
• The third edition of the European Recognition Manual for Higher Education Institutions

The STREAM Platform and the Standards and Guidelines for the ENIC-NARIC networks were also updated by this project.

The AR-NET project was funded by the European Union via the Erasmus+ Programme.
