We operate and manage the National Agency function, UK ENIC (formerly UK NARIC), for the UK Government.
Prior to the UK’s departure from the European Union, we also managed:
-
UK NEC- National Europass Centre for the UK
-
ECVET- The national contact point for England, improving the mobility of those holding vocational qualifications across Europe
-
ReferNet- The European network offering comparable information on Vocational Education and Training across Europe
Prior to January 2024, we provided an advisory service on the recognition of professional qualifications and regulation of professions as part of the UK Centre for Professional Qualifications (UK CPQ), for the UK Government.
With the UK’s exit from the EU, these European agency functions and programmes are no longer applicable. If you require information about these legacy activities and functions, email [email protected]
UK ENIC (formerly, until the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union, UK NARIC) is the National Agency responsible for providing information, advice and expert opinion on academic, vocational and professional qualifications and skills from all over the world. As the National Agency, managed on behalf of the UK Government, under contract to the Department for Education (DfE), we provide the only official source of information on international education and training systems and wide-ranging international qualifications and skills attained from outside the UK
UK ENIC is part of the European Network of Information Centres (ENICs) and part of the ENIC-NARIC network.
