In preparation for reform in Lithuania that would see responsibility for academic recognition decisions transferred to higher education institutions, this project sought to:
- create Guidelines for Training of Credential Evaluators that could be used as a methodological tool for consistent and systematic training of admissions officers and other staff involved in evaluating international qualifications both within Lithuanian HEIs and the NARIC
- to promote practice and activities in accordance with the Lisbon Recognition Convention
- to contribute to the development of a common culture of training for credential evaluators in Europe.
