The project ‘Aligning Badges, ESCO and the Certificate Supplement’ (ABECS) aims to combine the best attributes of
electronic transcripts, the Certificate Supplement and ESCO to incorporate them in a modern, portable, verified,
shareable, visible, electronic package – an Open Badge.
The project will pilot Open Badges that feature components of ESCO and the Certificate Supplement, leading to a
guidance document than be used for up-scaling the pilot across other qualifications.
The ABECS project is funded via the Erasmus+ Programme and will be completed in March 2020.
